My Gifts and Talents Are Blessings
I recognize and give thanks for the natural gifts and abilities God has placed within me. My gifts and talents are blessings, and I believe they deserve to be recognized, developed, and used with purpose.
Each morning, I give thanks to God for the abilities He has given me. When I take a moment to think about them, I realize just how blessed I am. Having gifts and tools that I can use to make a difference in the lives of others is special, and I never want to take them for granted.
I love to write. Whenever I find myself tempted to waste time or put off what I know I should be doing, I can pick up my keyboard and begin to write instead.
Being conscious of the importance of developing my writing gift keeps me committed to using it. I know there are many opportunities for me to encourage, teach, inspire, and help others through my writing. It is important for me to use this gift in ways that are meaningful and pleasing to God.
Each blessing I receive is worth sharing with others.
Sharing what I know with others is fulfilling. It brings me joy to see how something I teach or share can positively impact another person’s life. Whenever I have the opportunity to encourage, teach, or enlighten someone, I want to take it. Giving of myself does not take anything away from me—it allows me to pour into someone else.
I don’t have to fear that sharing my talents means losing a part of myself. What God has placed within me can multiply in its impact when I am willing to share it with others.
Today, I am reminded that blessings surround me, and I am thankful for what God has given me. My talents are tools I can use to make a positive difference in this world. I am committed to developing them, using them, and refusing to waste what God has entrusted to me.
